Commercial Development – Golf Course, Wimblington

This site consists of a golf course lying to the south and west of the A141 near Wimblington. The site measures approximately 7.92ha and has capacity for up to 200 dwellings, or 100 dwellings and 10,000m² commercial floor space, as confirmed with the Council during a previous call for sites consultation. The site would suit a mixed use of part residential, part employment uses, but is of a size that could accommodate a care facility or include (in part) a retail or leisure use.

This site is being promoted through the local plan process with a view to achieving a site allocation within Fenland District’s emerging Local Plan.
